Samsung Galaxy M42 5G scores in Geekbench with Snapdragon 750G chipset
It looks like the Samsung Galaxy M family of smartphones is expected to be replenished in the near future. Early leaks reported that the new device could be called the Galaxy M42. Now confirmation of this has been found in Geekbench.
A Samsung smartphone with model number SM-M426B was spotted in the benchmark database. According to the test results, the device is based on the Qualcomm chipset with a clock speed of 1.8 GHz, which includes the GPU Adreno 619. This indicates that the Galaxy M42 will be based on the Snapdragon 750G. The chip will work in conjunction with 4 GB of RAM. The operating system will be preinstalled with Android 11. Curiously, Samsung’s Indian site already has a support page for the Galaxy M42 5G.
It is assumed that the device will receive a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED-matrix with Full HD + resolution, a rear quad camera with a main 64-megapixel sensor and a capacious 6000-mAh battery. The smartphone has already been certified by a number of organizations, including 3C and the Wi-Fi Alliance, so there is every reason to believe that its launch is just around the corner.
